Please complete and return the nomination form to the Ulster Tennis Office before Thursday 15th June 2017. Ulster Tennis will submit your nomination form once the information has been confirmed, to the council.


National Spring Matchplays

The National Spring Matchplays will take place on Friday March 31st- Sunday April 2nd except for the U18s which is on Saturday and Sunday only. 

Further details will be updated as they become available

  • Under 12 Leinster/Greystones LTC
  • Under 14 Munster/Rushbrooke TC
  • Under 16 Connacht/Castlebar TC
  • Under 18 Ulster/Girls-Belfast Boat Club & Boys-Downshire Hillsborough(Hillsborough is 15 minutes from Belfast on the M1) 

UTP Rankings 2017

The initial UTP Rankings for 2017 are now available from the rankings page. These include points for David Lloyd Belfast Indoors, the Winter Regional, Provincial and National Matchplays and the National Indoors tournaments. 

Please note the operation of the ranking system for this season in terms of eligible tournaments and points allocations. Details can be found here.


UTP Masters Superset

The UTP Masters Superset event will take place on SUNDAY 18th September - details on the tournament site.

Players to register at 9:45am at each venue.


Each age group will be played at a specific venue:

Recognised tennis attire and appropriate shoes must be worn. Tracksuit bottoms, leggings and ball shorts without skirts ARE NOT permitted.


Sainsburys Schools Games 2016

The 2016 School Games, a major multi-sport event for elite young athletes took place at Loughborough University from 1-4 September 2016

1,600 athletes from across the UK competed in 12 sports, seven of which include disability disciplines, at the four-day spectacular which is supported by National Lottery funding from Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust

Ulster Tennis was represented at the event by Nathan McCabe and Ross Gourley with Coach/Manager Ivor Jess MBE

They were successful in achieving a Bronze Medal in the Boys Doubles Competition. In the Singles Competition Ross finished in 4th position with Nathan in 6th.
