UBTI Performance Pathway Diagram

The ‘Ulster Tennis Performance Pathway Diagram’ aims to promote your understanding of the Ulster Tennis Performance Pathways. The diagram illustrates how players can be attracted to the game through Community Outreach schemes in Clubs, Parks Tennis schemes, National Tennis Day, Active Community Programmes and Schools. Players can then follow a number of routes to reach the and Centre of Excellence at DCU and train to become a Top World Player. One pathway would be for players to take part in Tennis 10 events and then be identified for Club elite programmes or Regional Squads. Players can also submit a video. From there players can be selected to attend Tennis Futures squads. It is also possible for players participating in Tennis 10’s events to be identified for Tennis Futures squads directly. Full-time squad members are identified from players attending the Tennis Futures. Full-time players can then progress to the Centre of Excellence at DCU. This is fully aligned with the Ulster Tennis and Tennis Ireland objective of producing a Top 100 World Player. Please find a copy attached below for your information.
