Mary Peters Trust Funding 2013

Please note that Athletes can apply to the Mary Peters Trust to be considered for an award. 

The purpose of the Mary Peters Trust award is to financially assist talented individuals (according to their personal needs) with grants towards the cost of legitimate out-of-pocket expenses in respect of preparation, training and competition in sporting activities recognised by the Trust.

The criteria is those competitors of proven ability at junior and senior levels whose standing judged against World, British and Irish standards indicates potential to compete with credit at international level or with distinction in British and Irish Championships - see details of criteria attached

There are various awards and  these are outlined below;

1.Mary Peters Awards

2.Sports Awards for People with Disabilities.

3.Asda Sporting Chance / SportsAid Awards. 

4.The Leonard Cheshire NI Award 

5.Maeve Kyle Athletics Awards. 

6.King George VI Awards.

7.Expedition Awards

8.The John Moore Award.

9.The Carillion Energy Services Outstanding Sports Person Awards.

10.The Dale Farm Sports Award.


Please note that athletes who wish to be considered should contact Ulster Tennis to obtain an application form and that Ulster Tennis applications are considered by the Mary Peters Trust in October each year.  Athletes should ensure that application are submitted prior to the closing date.
