County Armagh Junior Championships 2017

Co Armagh Junior Championships 2017

The Co. Armagh junior championships have moved to a new date this year, for the first time since the tournament was first held in 2004.

This should be a good move for the tournament, as the earlier date in the calendar will hopefully encourage  the better ''Ulster Juniors" to participate,as this event now counts for inter provincial points, which the organisers hope will see a bigger than normal entry, than has been the case in the last few years in particular.

This year there will be u12 and u.14, boys and girls novice events, as well as the u8's u.9's and u10's competition which will take place on Thursday 6th .July at 2pm.

I would urge as many juniors as possible in the various age groups u.12,u.14, u16 and u.18 to play in the tournament, and in particular the u.14 and u,18 age groups,as those are the age groups for the Junior Inter Provincials places to be won.

I look forward to a good entry, and to see you all there on week commencing the 3rd.July.
